“ This place is so yummy. We go every time we visit pine. Great pizza! Fun atmosphere outside. ”
“ On our first night in Pine, the family stopped at the Old County Inn for some local wood fire pizza. WOW oh WOW. Although there was a bit of a wait, I am excited we stuck it through and ate here. We ordered the Peperoni Pizza and the White Pizza. Both where fantastic. We also ordered the Buffalo chips and loved how crunchy and salty there where. We will definitely be back to try desert. ”
“ Great place. Get the wings and burrata pizza. Long wait on a holiday weekend. No prob- we went and got some fudge down the street.and came back. Wish I was hungry enough to try a skillet cookie. ”
“ This is always a stop for us whenever we're in Pine or Strawberry. The food is always good. The service is excellent and I always have a good time. It is worth the wait if there's a line. There's also a small bar , The Tap Room, in the back by the outdoor area where you can get some drinks while hanging out. The pizza is well-known as some of the best in Arizona. I've liked all of them, but I particularly remember liking the white pizza and most recently got the Poncho, which had amazing flavor with a little spice. My favorite starters are the wings and the green chile beer cheese. So good! I was really surprised how good the wings were because I mostly only hear about their pizza. The Caesar salad was also ok, but I'm not really a fan of the huge piece anchovy they put on top. I just prefer it ground in with dressing. Everything else has been outstanding every time. ”
“ Service and food are absolutely incredible. We visited on a busy holiday weekend and there was a wait, but man was it worth it. Their indoor seating space is pretty small, so I'd likely plan to sit outside. There is covered seating should there be inclement weather! Our pizzas took a bit to arrive but our server was so kind and kept checking in with us. Cannot recommend them enough! ”
“ We LOVED Old County Inn! We are up north on a girls trip and came here for dinner. We had drinks in the back bar which was so fun! The singer on Friday night was really good and funny! The back patio has yard games and plenty of space with heaters! We played cornhole! Our server Taylor was great, he made sure two people in our group had their dietary needs met. Their pesto sauce does not contain tree nuts for any nut allergy peeps! The Hawaiian bbq pizza on GF crust was sooo flavorful and delicious. I can only imagine how good it would be on normal crust! ”
“ This food was amazing!!! The pizzas were excellent and Taylor our waiter was so kind and accommodating to our allergies!! I will say the wait was longer than what they quoted us but it was worth the 45 Minutes on a Friday! We loved everything we ordered from the pizzas and salad to the pizookie! This place is a must! ”
“ First off, I rarely give 5 stars...there is always room for improvement. That being said....I was in Pine for my quarterly visit, and OCI was strongly recommended. I waited to be sat - chose inside at the bar top - but they have ample outdoor covered seating, as well as a large outside patio that connects the restaurant and the tap house. This is mainly wood fired pizza, although they also serve lovely salads and a handful of appetizers. I ordered the pizza special which was house made sausage, roasted red peppers, roasted onions, their amazing red sauce (dinapoli). I opted to not have the green bell peppers...not my thing. I also ordered the beet salad which was actually better the next day! The pizza was crispy and well loaded with toppings. I always judge a good pizza by how well it reheats day 2....this was beyond perfect. Heated in cast iron just really crisped up the bottom which was perfect! Service was good...sitting at the bar you can watch the line cooks prepare everything. Definitely recommended when in Pine, which sadly has just a few places to eat and nothing in Strawberry opens until 4. ”
“ We just went for our second time since we were in Payson and it was just as amazing as it was 18 months ago. I got the smoked poblano marg(2), whiskey sour, and my hubs got the bitter orange and an old fashion. All were so tasty and made great. Lindsey was an amazing bartender and handled the opening rush like a pro!! For food we got the chicken tenders, which are the best ones in the world lol and pizza. I got the white pizza with mushrooms and my hubs got a creation recommend by Lindsey which was the simple with ricotta, bacon, and garlic. We had a great time hanging out, eating, and drinking. The company of the staff was enjoyable and really adds to the experience when you sit at the bar top. Can't wait to go back in the future :) ”
